DREAMWORKS (i)

DREAMWORKS (i) is a play by Solomon Garçon exploring metamorphosis and dysmorphia as dream states.

Incorporating live animation, sound, strobe and light choreography, the work references histories of using flashing lights as a means of conveying coded or secret communication.

This performance takes place as part of ARMS, a new installation by Solomon Garçon (b.1991, London) and the artist's first institutional exhibition in the UK. Garçon’s practice considers both the ‘digital’ and the ‘underground’ as spaces of experimentation. The artist weaves narratives and simulations of liminal and re-imagined spaces, often referencing shape-shifting and anamorphic figures from reality television and horror genres.
