Linda Bell

Linda Bell has been a resident artist at ActionSpace’s studio at Studio Voltaire since 1999. Bell creates large-scale, interactive, and performative sculptural works. Through her multifaceted approach, the artist explores the sensory nature of materials and transforms the work through rigorous movement, and impromptu performance. Sharing the performative experience is crucial for Bell to explore the relationship between herself, her artwork and the viewer or collaborator. Bell has exhibited widely since 2011 and shared her Live Art practice through workshops and events at Tate Modern, Royal Academy, British Museum, A New Direction, Hospital Rooms and ActionSpace’s Make It Live, Live Art Programme.
