Bryan Giuseppi Rodriguez Cambana

Bryan Giuseppi Rodriguez Cambana is an artist and filmmaker looking at 'community' as a shifting and complex social landscape and vessel for codes, narratives and Characters.

Through installation, the artist proposes personal-narratives as a confessional language, situated within and through reconstructions and re-imaginings of familiar settings, often activated by performing bodies and filtered through photographs, a screen and/or in sculptural stagings. Through this, they aim to articulate and map the relationship between performances of ‘representation’ and the forms of loss and plight experienced as a result of socio-political material violence, tragedy and mourning.

He holds an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London. In 2025 the artist was selected as an awardee of the Third edition of the LOEWE FOUNDATION / Studio Voltaire Award.
