"Masterful cooking makes this spin-off a secret worth sharing. This wildly ambitious restaurant may be one of Jimi Famurewa’s favourite new spots in the capital" The Evening Standard

Juliets Café and Bar is open Wednesday–Sunday, 9am–5pm

Run by the founders of local favourite Juliets in Tooting, Juliets Café and Bar serves simple, thoughtful food led by the seasons, alongside specialty coffee and real wines. Indoor and outdoor dining surrounds our courtyard garden designed by Anthea Hamilton.

Ingredients inspired by the artists’ garden provide a changing menu of seasonal specials including lamb braised with mogette de vendee beans and black garlic miso bagna cauda, grilled banana and cascara bread with salted espresso butter, English broad bean and halloumi fritters, pickled green tomato and coconut sambal.

Juliets serve single origin specialty coffee from the best roasters in Europe including The Barn, Berlin and Koppi in Sweden. Alongside minimal intervention wines, beers and ciders, Juliets are serving home–brewed kombucha with elderflower from Streatham common, house–made Aronia Berry and Cassia Bark Soda, Dandelion root negronis and gin slushies.

Light snack accompaniments include fresh pecorino and broad beans to shuck, salted marcona almonds and crispy chickpeas farinata with flowering thyme.

You can also takeaway deli favourites from Juliets home larder include pumpkin bread, tasted fennel seed harissa, dukkah and their secret recipe toasted pecan and caramelised white chocolate nutella.

Prices range from £4 to £16.

Juliets work with the best of local South London producers with honey from beehives dotted around Brixton and Dulwich; smoked Dorset Trout from Moxon’s Fishmongers in Clapham South; organic meats from M. Moen’s Butchers in Clapham Common; wood–fired sourdough from a bakery in Tulse Hill and beers from Villages Brewery in Deptford.

Bringing together Juliets self–confident and simple food with Studio Voltaire’s distinctive Victorian chapel gallery and industrial buildings, a range of unique spaces is available for private functions, weddings, events and receptions. All hires support the charity’s innovative artistic and community programmes. Click here to learn more about hires.
