Jesse Glazzard
Jesse Glazzard (he/they) (b. 1993, Halifax) tells stories of the Trans, working class, and queer communities, aiming to create intimacy and validation through photography. Rooted in constant dialogue and collaboration with their community, Glazzard combines documentary approaches with personal writing to minimise distance between subject, viewer and camera, fostering a sense of shared experience and representation. His work has been exhibited in Les Rencontres d'Arles, Arles, France (2025); Photo London, London (2025); Studio Voltaire, London (2025); Saint Laurent Rive Droite, Los Angeles (2024) and Babylon, Paris (2024). Glazzard’s work has been published in magazines such as Granta, The Face and BUTT.
In 2025 the artist was selected as an awardee of the third edition of the LOEWE FOUNDATION / Studio Voltaire Award.
