About Claudia Williams
Claudia Williams has been a resident artist at ActionSpace’s Studio Voltaire studio since 2013, creating striking sets of graphic drawings, influenced by the culture of the 70’s and 80’s. Claudia’s passion for Reggae and R&B feature throughout, from record labels, musicians and album covers. Drawings morph family and self-portraits into musicians, with Bob Marley and Dionne Warwick frequently appearing. Claudia’s live practice led to ‘London I am Still In Love With You’, a live takeover of Johann Aren’s Pump House Gallery exhibition. Claudia developed new work and led workshops during her 2021 residency with Studio Voltaire, as part of the William Scott exhibition programme.
