Healthcare Residencies

Since 2021, Studio Voltaire and Imperial Health Charity have partnered on a programme of artist residencies exploring the relationship between creativity and wellbeing.

Artists are invited to undertake focused residencies within London’s Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Hospitals, working closely with specific patient communities to explore the potential of creativity within healthcare settings. 

The programme offers a significant platform for artists to develop their practice through site-specific work, building connections and working long-term, whilst providing patients with opportunities to engage in creativity to support better health outcomes. 

This programme forms part of Imperial Health Charity’s Artist in Residence programme.
