Curator (Civic & Learning), Parental Leave Cover
Studio Voltaire is hiring for a Curator (Civic & Learning), Parental Leave Cover. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Studio Voltaire team, in which you will collaborate with the organisation's programme team and Director and take a key role in supporting the delivery of our artistic and community programmes.
This is a unique role for someone to work at the intersection of commissioning, participation and learning for a six-month period. We invite applications from people with experience in leading and delivering artist-led projects and commissions, working with different civic partners and community groups.
You will lead on a number of exciting long-term projects working alongside the civic and learning team, including Tender Living, the Neighbours Group, and an artist residency in partnership with Imperial Health Charity. The position will also support our organisation's ongoing work with schools, young people, educators, community groups and universities.
- Department: Programme
- Salary: £34,000–£36,000, pro-rata
- Part-time (4 days per week)
- Contract: 6-month fixed term contract, with potential to extend
- Occasional evening and weekend work required
- TOIL (Time off in lieu) in line with Studio Voltaire’s policy
- Probation: 1 month
- Notice: 1 month (probation notice period is 4 weeks)
